We had our 3rd Champions Board residential weekend in June 2019. This took place at Ardmay house. Invites were extended to children and young people interested in champions’ board but not currently involved. The idea behind this was to raise awareness of champion’s board and encourage participation. 24 young people attended the weekend and took part in various outdoor activities. Kate Rocks, chief social work officer joined us throughout the weekend.
Throughout the weekend there was opportunity for young people to learn more about what the champions board is and to engage in workshops around the theme of Police.
