Some champions’ board young people were involved in presenting a magic show to open the launch event of the new education corporate parent policy. The audience at the event included head teachers and pastoral support teachers across the local authority schools as well as representatives from other organisations across the authority.
One young person presented her journey to the audience about her care experience and the impact education had upon her journey. This young person urged schools to be “brave” and take a chance on young people.
